Ordering Online the currency you will need for your next trip abroad, you ensure its availability.

Alternatively you can pay Online and receive your currency at your place, without having to move.
When we receive your order, we make sure that the next working day we have your currency available at the store of your choice or, alternatively, deliver it to your place.

Using your card abroad either at an ATM to withdraw cash in local currency or in shopping, incurs additional charges. Furthermore, the exchange rate for the currency conversion is automatically set by the Bank, without knowing the conversion factor.

For those reasons, it is preferable to have bought your currency in Greece, as you will have full control over your transaction (equivalent, supply etc.)

You can return the banknotes you have left over to us. By going to the nearest GPK store you can change the foreign currency, that you bought from us, in Euro.

Transactions up to 1.000 euro
For transactions up to 1.000 euro, presentation of a valid certificate is required

Transactions from 1.000 up to 15.000 euro
You can buy or sell currency worth up to 15.000 euros with the following certificates:

• Greek Police ID
• Passport
• European Union citizen ID
• Permission of stay for a foreigner
• Greek version refugee identity card
• Travel document

Transactions over 15.000 euro
For transactions over 15.000 euros, the tax clearance certificate and a DEKO account are required .

If you need money either abroad or in Greece, you can receive them through Western Union. Funds are sent from all our stores and are instantly available worldwide.
